Job summary

OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd invites applications for a Helpdesk Engineer on a government project. The role handles IT support across hardware, software, and network issues with a focus on delivering prompt, effective user assistance.

Requirements include a diploma in CS/IT/SE or equivalent with ITIL knowledge, plus hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint/Intune/OneDrive. The position is based in Singapore with 5-day work week and 9am-6pm hours.

Qualifications

Diploma in Computer Science/ IT/ Software Engineering with 1 year relevant IT support experience.
Alternatively, Diploma in any field with 2 years IT support experience.
ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
Laptop provisioning experience required; familiarity with configuring devices.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint/Intune/OneDrive) and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network connectivity.
Create, manage and resolve helpdesk tickets; escalate issues when needed.
Maintain detailed records of support requests, steps taken, and inventory in ticketing systems/knowledge bases.
Provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
Perform simple AWS operations (e.g., expand EBS, resource sharing, MFA reset).
Create/modify/disable user accounts across systems (SharePoint, Email, etc.).
