Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of trainers to ensure high-quality instruction and consistent training standards.
- Oversee trainer recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and continuous professional development.
- Develop training guidelines, teaching frameworks, and best practices to maintain teaching excellence across programmes.
Curriculum & Programme Development
- Oversee the design, review, and enhancement of curriculum, assessments, and learning materials.
- Work closely with the admissions team to ensure programmes remain current, industry-relevant, and aligned with learner needs.
- Drive innovation in training methodologies, including blended learning, experiential learning, and tech-enabled delivery.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure training programmes meet SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) guidelines, organisational standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Conduct regular classroom observations, audits, and feedback sessions to monitor and improve instructional quality.
- Maintain proper documentation for SSG courses, audits, and compliance checks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing) to support programme launches, training schedules, and learner experience.
- Represent Vertical Institute in accreditation reviews, audits, and external engagements.
Training Operations & Improvement
- Oversee training calendars, trainer deployment, and resource allocation to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Analyse training performance metrics (learner satisfaction, progression, assessment outcomes) and implement improvements.
- Lead strategic initiatives to scale training operations and enhance overall learning experience.
Requirements
- ACTA/ACLP certification (Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications)
- Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) certification
- Minimum 5–7 years of training, facilitation, or adult education experience
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and adult learning methodologies
- Familiarity with SSG frameworks, WSQ systems, and training compliance procedures.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to design engaging learning experiences and coach trainers effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfort with digital tools, LMS platforms, and technology‑enhanced learning.
