Job summary

TALENT FIRST PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Head of IT to lead the Singapore business's technology strategy, digital transformation and AI initiatives.

You will shape the technology roadmap, collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams, and oversee SAP S/4HANA and IT operations to drive performance. You will manage the local IT team, coordinate with external partners and vendors, and ensure governance, security and continuity.

Qualifications

• Senior IT leadership experience in a large organisation.
• Experience implementing AI, automation or digital transformation solutions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, FMCG, food, distribution, logistics or supply chain processes.
• Experience leading ERP and enterprise system transformation; working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Strong business partnering to translate operations into tech solutions.
• Experience managing IT teams, vendors, budgets and cross-functional programs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall IT strategy, digital transformation and technology roadmap for the Singapore business.
• Identify business and operational areas where AI, automation and digital solutions can improve productivity, efficiency and decision-making.
• Drive the end-to-end implementation of AI and digitalisation initiatives, from identifying use cases and evaluating solutions to deployment and adoption.
• Partner closely with business functions including manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, procurement, finance and commercial teams to understand operational requirements.
• Oversee enterprise applications and ERP systems, including an SAP S/4HANA environment, together with infrastructure, cybersecurity and IT operations.
• Lead and develop the local IT team while managing external technology vendors and outsourced development partners.
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, projects, governance, business continuity and technology risk.

Requirements

• Strong senior IT leadership experience, preferably in a Head of IT, IT Director, Regional IT or similar leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in implementing AI, automation or digital transformation solutions within a business environment.
• Strong understanding of business processes within manufacturing, FMCG, food, distribution, logistics or supply chain environments.
• Experience leading ERP and enterprise system transformation; working knowledge of SAP / SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to translate operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Experience managing IT teams, vendors, budgets and cross-functional transformation programs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
