ALL ABOUT PEOPLE partners with a global Industrial Technology group to recruit a Head of ITIS in Singapore. This senior, hands-on leader blends strategic IT governance with day-to-day operational reliability, earning trust across the business while stewarding technology.

The successful candidate will oversee reliable, secure IT services and drive practical business-system improvements in Singapore, coordinating with Malaysia and other APAC sites within scope.

Qualifications

• Extensive IT operations experience with vendor oversight and outcomes delivery.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, IAM, security and recovery controls.
• Experience coordinating business-system implementation with users and vendors.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
• History owning outcomes and surfacing risk early.
• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments.
• Relevant IT qualifications; certifications advantageous.
• Comfortable acting as generalist, knowing when to bring specialists.

We are partnering exclusivelywith a large globally established Industrial Technology group as they seek tohire a Head of ITIS. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone whocan pair strategic IT governance with day-to-day operational reliability, abuilder of trust across the business as much as a steward of technology.

The successfulcandidate will own reliable, secure IT services and drive practicalbusiness-system improvements across Singapore, with a coordinating rolesupporting Malaysia and other APAC Group companies within an agreed scope. Success in this role is built on close engagement with users, realisticcommitments, transparent communication, and consistent delivery, not on beingthe deepest technical specialist in every domain, but on knowing how tomobilise the right expertise, internal or external, at the right time.

Head ofInformation Technology and Infocomm Security (ITIS)

KeyResponsibilities

• Strategy,Governance & Architecture Apply Group IT frameworks and architecture standards locally; own aprioritised roadmap and budget aligned to business needs, risk, and capacity.Assign accountable owners across the five IT pillars and maintain proportionatecontrols, risk tracking, and audit follow-through.
• Infrastructure,Cloud & Cybersecurity Oversee reliable infrastructure, cloud, and connectivity, withessential controls spanning identity and access, patching, data protection,backup, and tested recovery. Coordinate security reviews and incident responsewith specialists and Group IT, prioritising remediation and tracking correctiveaction to completion.
• Applications &Business Systems Own the reliability and continuous improvement of business systems inpartnership with application owners, users, and vendors. Ensure recurringissues get proper root-cause analysis, and that changes are tested, adopted,and proven in day-to-day operations.
• Data, Integration& Digital Drive practical improvements to integration, reporting, and automationin partnership with business owners, Group IT, and specialists, anchored toclear business benefit. Clarify data ownership: business owns the rules andcontent; IT enables the systems and controls.
• IT Operations,Service Delivery, Vendor & Support Own service delivery and vendor performance, with clear expectations,escalation paths, and issue ownership. Stay close to users and sites,diagnosing within personal expertise, mobilising specialists quickly, andfollowing through to confirmed resolution rather than ticket closure.

Requirements

• Substantial IT experience with direct responsibility for operational services, vendors, or a team, and a track record of delivering on agreed outcomes.
• Practical grounding in IT infrastructure and operations, including Microsoft 365, identity and access management, and core security and recovery controls.
• Experience coordinating business-system implementation or improvement with users and vendors, with sound judgement on business impact and technical proposals.
• Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders and senior management; demonstrated follow-through on issue resolution and sound prioritisation under competing demands.
• A track record of taking ownership of outcomes even when work is delegated, and of surfacing risk early rather than overpromising on delivery timelines.
• Exposure to manufacturing or multi-site environments, system integration, reporting, or automation.
• Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent professional experience; certifications advantageous.
• Comfortable operating as a generalist who knows when to bring in specialist capability (advanced development, data engineering, cloud architecture, security forensics) rather than owning it all personally.

Based in Singapore, with travel as required.
