Qualifications

• 8-10 years of IT experience across management, infrastructure, systems and operations.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead the organisation’s overall IT strategy, infrastructure, systems and operations.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for driving digital transformation across the business, with a strong focus on SAP, AI adoption, process automation and business intelligence. The successful candidate will work closely with business functions to identify opportunities where technology can improve productivity, operational efficiency and overall business performance.

Working Location: Senoko, Singapore (15mins from Sembawang)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:45 PM; Alternate Saturday, 8:30 AM-12:30 PM
Salary: S$9,000 - S$11,000/month + 13th month + variable bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the organisation's overall IT strategy, infrastructure, systems and operations.

• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including AI implementation, process automation and business intelligence solutions.

• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of IT systems to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

• Manage SAP implementation, optimisation, troubleshooting, user support and business process integration.

• Lead IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and successful user adoption.

• Partner with business departments to understand operational requirements and recommend practical technology solutions.

• Oversee IT vendors, software providers, consultants and external technology partners.

• Manage cybersecurity, system maintenance, data security and IT governance.

• Develop and implement a long-term IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.

• Build, lead and develop the internal IT team while providing technical guidance where required.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, particularly AI, automation, analytics and digital solutions, and identify opportunities to create measurable business value.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.

• 8-10 years of relevant IT experience, with demonstrated experience across IT management, infrastructure, systems and operations.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP, including implementation, optimisation, troubleshooting, user support and process integration.

• Proven experience driving digital transformation, including AI adoption, process automation, business intelligence or technology-led process improvement.

• Strong IT project management experience across planning, implementation and user adoption.

• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, system maintenance, IT governance and data security.

• Experience managing IT vendors, software providers, consultants and external technology partners.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational requirements into practical and cost-effective technology solutions.

• Experience developing and implementing IT strategies and technology roadmaps.

• Demonstrated experience leading, developing and mentoring an internal IT team.

• Experience within the FMCG and/or food industry would be highly advantageous.

• Proactive, adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
