Job summary

Ethos is a new expert network backed by leading investors, seeking heads of privacy to train AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role requires deep data privacy and regulatory compliance experience, with a focus on DPIAs and data processing agreements.

The position is fully remote and flexible, with a commitment of 5-20 hours per week, offering compensation at $90 per hour. Start date is ASAP, and the work supports a rapidly evolving AI lab environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data privacy or regulatory compliance, with direct ownership of DPIAs, records of processing activities, and GDPR/CCPA gap assessments.
• Experience drafting privacy notices and vendor data-processing agreements that stand up to regulator and customer scrutiny.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated privacy documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Lead privacy-related assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement robust data protection practices in AI tool usage.
