Job summary

The Fullerton Hotels in Singapore is seeking a capable Food & Beverage supervisor to ensure service excellence and adherence to Forbes Travel Guide standards. You will assist the manager in training, staff supervision, and daily operations in a busy hotel restaurant.

Coordination with the chef and beverage team for promotions, maintaining high presentation and service quality, and addressing guest concerns promptly are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Forbes Travel Guide service standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for diplomatically handling staff and customers.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to run a streamlined operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to run operations and provide courteous service to all guests.
• Assist in training and audit service standards according to Forbes Travel Guide.
• Supervise staff and ensure all Food & Beverage service is performed to standard.
• Ensure drinks and food are served per menu and wine list specs at correct temperatures.
• Check daily restaurant prep, mise-en-place, cleanliness, and presentation of tableware.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct daily briefings with staff.
• Perform staff appraisals and discipline as needed.
• Inspect outlets for cleanliness of linen, equipment, fixtures and furniture and proper table setups.
• Monitor guest service levels and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Chef and beverage department for promotions and upselling.
