Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd is seeking a Manager, Business Development to drive new business across freight forwarding and contract logistics. You will leverage an extensive network and market insight to grow multiple product lines and build strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 3–6+ years in freight forwarding with a proven sales track record, leadership experience, and appetite to expand in the Chinese market. Mandarin ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in freight forwarding with strong business development and sales background
• 2+ years of leadership or people management experience
• Excellent sales record in freight forwarding is a plus
• Mandarin language ability is a plus for overseeing the Chinese market

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue potential business opportunities using an extensive network and market research.
• Drive growth across multiple product lines for the organisation.
• Explore cross-selling opportunities to new and existing clients.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with key contacts in new and existing accounts.
• Ensure exceptional customer service to support account retention.
• Develop and implement new business plans to drive expansion and growth strategies.
• Support negotiations and proposals to align with business goals.
