Job summary

DART Global Forwarding PTE. LTD. is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager in Singapore to grow the Freight Management business regionally. You will drive revenue, expand the client base, and lead strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on new client acquisition, negotiation of contracts, and participation in RFQs, with emphasis on delivering profitable growth and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field.
• Experience in sales/business development or account management in a freight/logistics environment.
• Experience in freight forwarding sales, client relationship and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and refine business strategy and execute to lead the market.
• Ensure revenue growth is profitable and expand the client base.
• Hunt for new clients and expand market share, participate in RFQs, proposals and quotations.
• Lead vertical client management, manage expectations and conduct business reviews.
• Negotiate contracts and renewals; review SOPs with countries and departments.
• Visit on-site and off-site sites as needed and communicate accordingly.
