Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is recruiting a Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding for our client in Singapore. The role focuses on developing new business across air and ocean freight, managing a growing portfolio of customers and driving revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of freight forwarding sales experience, strong knowledge of international shipping solutions, and proven ability to close deals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain solutions.
• Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, project logistics and international shipping solutions.
• Proven track record in business development, account management and achieving sales targets.
• Existing customer network or sales portfolio in the logistics industry will be advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-driven, disciplined and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
• Proficient in English to communicate with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across air freight, ocean freight, project logistics and specialised logistics solutions.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers while actively acquiring new accounts.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, business partners and key stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close new business opportunities.
• Work closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth shipment execution and high service standards.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and business opportunities within the freight forwarding industry.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Provide regular sales updates, pipeline reports and market feedback to management.
