Job summary

Global Airfreight International Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive air and sea freight business growth through new customer acquisition, corporate account development, and revenue expansion.

You will build and manage a robust sales pipeline, negotiate quotations, coordinate with operations, and conduct client visits to identify cross-selling opportunities, while delivering excellent end-to-end service.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing or related discipline.
• Experience: 3-5 years in Sales/BD, preferably in logistics/freight forwarding.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of air and sea freight and freight forwarding sales.
• Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management.
• Sales Skills: Training or certification in sales or related areas is a plus.
• Personal Attributes: Proactive, results-driven, customer-focused, and team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through prospecting and lead generation.
• Manage corporate accounts and grow revenue and retention.
• Prepare and negotiate freight quotations within approved terms.
• Meet sales and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Ops, Finance, and partners to fulfil requirements.
• Monitor shipments and resolve service issues promptly.
• Conduct customer visits and identify cross-/upselling opportunities.
• Maintain active sales pipeline and submit monthly reports.
• Stay updated on freight market trends and competitors.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
