Qualifications

  • Minimum 9 years working experience in General Insurance industry, especially in Marketing and Underwriting of Marine Hull business.
  • Ability to communicate with Japanese stakeholders and senior management.

Job Description:


  • Manage company as AGM

  • Supervise the operation of marketing business units including credit control

  • Maximize volume and profitability of all Japanese and global regional program related sales distribution channels

  • Develop and grow portfolio to achieve growth targets with our business structure

  • Implement and monitor the marketing strategy/activity on a regular basis

  • Plan and execute the strategy/activity on loss prevention service and digitalization

  • Set marketing’s action plan and sales budget

  • Improve service quality with customer-oriented mindsets

  • Ensure compliance with our company’s policy and relevant regulations

  • Monitor underwriting trend and results

  • Manage, mentor and nurture talent


Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 9 years working experience in General Insurance industry, especially in the Marketing and Underwriting of Marine Hull business

  • Proficient in both written and spoken Japanese to effectively communicate with Japanese stakeholders and senior management in Tokyo Head Office and other business units

  • Possess good communication skills, analytical ability, and logical thinking

  • Diploma or Degree of equivalent
