Job summary

The Garcha Group is seeking a Front Desk/Hotel Associate in Singapore to welcome guests, check them in, and support daily hotel operations. This role emphasizes professionalism, guest service, and adherence to Marriott standards within the group’s boutique properties.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in related hospitality roles, English plus another language, and familiarity with Opera systems and hotel procedures.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate or NITEC required.
• English required; additional language preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in hotel-related role is desirable.
• Familiar with Marriott standards and Opera PMS.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins and room assignments per rate structures and discounts.
• Assist with luggage, safety deposit, keys, and transportation as needed.
• Collect payments following cash handling and accounting policies.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, events, and directions.
• Pre-register and block reservations; handle today and future bookings.
• Perform night audits and prepare related reports.
• Handle Bonvoy loyalty enquiries for members (Silver/Gold/Platinum).
• Maintain punctuality, grooming and professional conduct at all times.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by management.
