Job summary

AGI FREIGHT SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Airfreight Operations Manager to lead and develop the operation team in Singapore. You will oversee MAWBs/HAWBs, ensure timely shipments, and maintain service quality for agents and clients.

You will manage billing, documentation, and flight closing processes, while optimizing profitability and coordinating with contractors to meet deadlines. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years’ experience overseeing a team to run an airfreight import and export operation.
• Extensive background in freight forwarding industry (agent environment).
• Strong experience in full import and export documentation functions.
• Strong leadership skill.
• Possess good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding with co-workers and contractors.
• Self-motivated and customer oriented.
• High endurance and ability to work under pressure.
• Well versed with TradeneT preferred.
• Able to start work immediately preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage airfreight operation team.
• Ensure smoothy operations and good customer services.
• Execution of MAWBs and HAWBs (Direct and consolidation shipment).
• Manage airline FWB/FHL submission.
• Follow up and processing of shipment with shipment status and revert to agents/clients.
• Documentation for shipments and plan for collection and delivery with contractors to meet flight closing time.
• Ensure COD payments collected prior to release airwaybill/delivery.
• Attend to all messages pertaining to operation matters.
• Oversee airfreight import and export billing to clients and agents.
• Close airfreight import/export job files promptly to meet month end closing.
• Maintain good relations with customers and agents to ensure good services.
• Ensure profitability for businesses with management reviews.
• Support customer services and pricing team on air operational issues.
• Any other duties assigned by Management.

• Attend to all messages pertaining to operation matters.
• Responsible to oversee airfreight import and export billing to clients and agents
• Closing of all airfreight import and export job files promptly to meet month end closing
• Maintain good relations with all customers and agents to ensure good customer services.
• Ensure profitability for businesses secured with regular review with management.
• Support customer services and pricing team on air operational issues
• Any other official duties assign by Management.

5.5 days work (alternate weekend upon confirmation)

Working hour: 11am to 8pm (Weekday) and 11am to 3pm (Weekend)
