Job summary

AGI FREIGHT SINGAPORE PTE LTD in Singapore is looking for a Logistics Assistant to prepare shipping documents, handle customs declarations, and support Tradenet operations. You will work closely with a team to ensure timely completion of tasks.

You will attend to customers’ enquiries by email, respond promptly to complaints, and work in a team to meet deadlines. Requires 1–2 years’ freight forwarding experience and at least an O Level in Logistics/Transportation; English proficiency is

Qualifications

• Minimum O Level in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• Proficient English to liaise with clients.
• 1–2 years of freight forwarding experience.
• Knowledge of Import/Export documentation.
• Able to meet deadlines; teamwork oriented.
• Permit declaration, Costing and Billing knowledge is a plus.

Job description

• Prepare shipping documents
• Handle customs declaration and Tradenet operations
• Other duties as assigned
• Able to execute AWB based on CS instructions and comply to terminal/airline requirement.
• Attend to customers’ enquiries via email wherever necessary.
• Respond to customer complaints and enquiries promptly (sense of urgency) and provide possible suggestions / solutions or assist with recovery actions whenever possible.
• Able to work in team with communication and understanding of workflow.
• Take on additional tasks delegated by Department Supervisor/ Manager.
• Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/"O" Level in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English to liaise with clients
• Knowledge of Import and Export documentation
• 1-2 years of working Experience in Freight Forwarding company
• Able to perform given tasks efficiently
• Able to meet deadlines
