Job summary

trust recruit pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking a dynamic Business Development professional focused on hunting new clients in the freight forwarding/logistics space. You will lead engagements, build strong customer relationships, and drive quotes and proposals to win revenue growth.

The role supports regional and global growth with a flexible work arrangement including WFH options, and requires strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations and sales processes.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent.
• Certification in Logistics/Supply Chain is a plus.
• Min. 5 years in a customer-facing role in freight/logistics.
• Pure hunting role with freight forwarding knowledge is a must.
• Strong customer focus and service ethics.
• Proven track record in sales and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Hunt, win and acquire new business and customers for the organization.
• Lead engagement and grow assigned customers in country.
• Maintain positive relationships with all assigned customers.
• Lead and prepare customer quotations and proposals.
• Meet targets and raise revenue, volumes, and gross profit.
• Execute business development strategies and tactics.
• Assist management in sales planning and strategy.
• Coordinate with local and regional product teams for best market rates.
• Manage and analyze performance of owned customers and take actions.
• Support growth of accounts regionally or globally if required.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement sales initiatives.
• Work on tenders and RFQs as required.
• Maintain internal stakeholder relationships.
