Job summary

N-BOX SHIPPING (S) PTE LTD is expanding its freight forwarding sales team in Singapore, seeking candidates with experience in securing new business and nurturing customer relationships. The role covers both import and export freight, with opportunities to travel for industry conferences and trade fairs, and a performance-based commission structure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree holder.
• At least one year of sales experience in freight forwarding.
• Import and Export freight experience will be an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, presenting skills to engage customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with minimum supervision.
• Must be a team player with a good working attitude and behavior.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Exceptional customer service and follow-up skills.
• Active listening and questioning skills for needs assessment.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure new businesses and customers.
• Identifying opportunities, nurturing customer relationship.
• Assess customer needs and present suitable services and solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to secure repeat business.
• Good negotiate skills to build working relations with customers and coloaders.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver excellent service to customers.
• Prepare presentations and proposals to customers.
• Analyze sales data and activity to identify areas for improvement.
• Able to travel oversea to attend networkd conferences and trade fairs.
