PENANSHIN SHIPPING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Sales & Business Development professional in Singapore to identify new opportunities, deliver compelling pitches, and negotiate contracts. You will collaborate with Operations, Accounts, and Customer Service to meet client requirements and achieve targets.

The role emphasizes building long-term client relationships, providing excellent post-sales support, and achieving high customer satisfaction while working with a proactive, self-motivated mindset.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
• Committed, proactive and self-motivated.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience in freight forwarding will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and sales visits.
• Deliver effective and compelling sales pitches to potential customers.
• Participate in contract discussions and price negotiations with clients.
• Strive to provide the best customer experience and maintain professional standards throughout the negotiation process.
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Manage client expectations and address inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure a smooth post-sales process and maintain excellent after-sales support.
• Work closely with internal departments such as Operations, Accounts, and Customer Service to fulfill client requirements and meet targets.
• Coordinate effectively across teams to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
