Role & Responsibilities

As a Freelance Counsellor/Psychologist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, couple, family and/or group counselling sessions in a safe, empathetic, and confidential environment.
• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations when necessary (for psychologists)
• Creating personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Offering guidance and support to clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Psychology or Counselling.
• Registered/licensed or in the process of registering with a recognized professional body in Singapore (e.g., Singapore Psychological Society, Singapore Association for Counselling).
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to working with clients.
• Possess the relevant certifications and/or experience to provide couple counselling.
• Able to commit to avail minimum 15 hours a week to both in-person and online sessions.
• Able to commit to some availability for weekday evenings/nights and one weekend.
• Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
