Job summary

A food manufacturing company based in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage production processes and a team of workers. The role requires experience with ISO standards, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with the team. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Food Science or related fields, and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Experience with ISO 22000
  • Procurement and cost control
  • Liaise with SFA
  • Manage daily production process
  • Lead and manage a team of production workers
  • Food tasting and testing
  • R & D of new products
  • Ensure product meet the company’s quality standards, policies and practices
  • Has ability to multi task and priorities work efficiently
  • To comply to safety regulations and security measures for warehouse operations
  • Ensure compliance of all raw materials and finished product
  • Maintain hygiene and safety in the work place
  • Other ad- hoc duties such as stock taking
  • Maintain all related machines in working condition
Requirements
  • Understand ISO standards, GMP standards, HACCP and ISO22000
  • Diploma/ Degree in Food science background
  • Relevant job experience of 1-2 years. Entry level candidates are welcome to apply as well
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in any field
  • At least one year(s) of Hands-on working experience in the related fields
  • Candidates who major in Food Science/ Technical/ Manufacturing Process have an advantage
  • Exude strong leadership quality and sense of management work responsibility and timeline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Computer Literate
  • Proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills, and ability to innovate work independently and cope with pressure
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • To be bilingual in both English and Mandarin to effectively lead and manage teams of Chinese-speaking production workers
