Job summary

Business Edge Personnel Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead end-to-end fixed assets accounting for organisation-owned assets, including PTO-held assets. You will ensure accurate recording, timely reporting and a compliant year-end close, while partnering with stakeholders to address asset-related queries.

The role focuses on governance, process improvement and automation, with opportunities to deploy AI and RPA tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years' finance experience.
• Fixed assets management experience, preferably in the public sector or a large organisation.
• A forward-looking mindset with a passion for process improvement.
• Strong learning agility and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Able to analyse issues holistically and develop practical solutions to business challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated initiative, leadership qualities, and ability to drive workstreams and improvement projects from conceptualisation through implementation.
• Meticulous with numbers and competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AI tools, SAP, data analytics/visualisation tools & Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Fixed Assets Accounting & Management: oversee recording, tracking, and reporting of fixed assets in line with policies and SB-FRS, including PTO-held assets.
• Stakeholder Partnership and Advisory: provide advisory support on fixed asset policies and accounting treatment to divisions; guide on asset implications for projects.
• Process Improvement: identify gaps, design improvements, and champion technology to modernise workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Team Leadership, Development & Guidance: lead and develop finance professionals; foster accountability and collaboration; support onboarding and upskilling.
