Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Manager, Fixed Assets to lead a Finance team on a 1-year contract, located in the East of Singapore.

You will oversee end-to-end fixed assets accounting, governance and reporting, drive process improvements and partner with stakeholders to strengthen asset management and controls.

Degree in Accountancy with 5+ years in fixed assets is required; knowledge of SAP and digitalisation tools is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end accounting, tracking and reporting of fixed assets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant financial reporting standards.
• Maintain accurate and complete fixed asset records.
• Manage fixed asset confirmation exercises with external stakeholders.
• Support year-end closing activities and audit requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert on fixed assets matters.
• Advise stakeholders on accounting treatment, asset classification and policy requirements.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to operational and accounting-related issues.
• Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders on fixed assets initiatives.
• Review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls and reporting accuracy.
• Drive the adoption of digitalisation, automation and AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Develop and maintain governance documentation, guidelines and SOPs.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and capability development.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support onboarding and skills development as processes evolve.
