Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead fixed assets accounting and asset management for the organisation. You will oversee recording, reconciliation, reporting, and year-end activities, ensuring alignment with policies and standards.

You will provide technical advisory on asset classifications, drive process improvements and digitalisation, mentor a finance team, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience.
• Experience in fixed assets management, preferably in large organisations or public sector.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive improvement projects.
• Self-motivated, meticulous and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AI tools, SAP, data analytics, visualization tools, or RPA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead fixed assets accounting and management of organisation-owned assets.
• Ensure accurate recording, tracking, reconciliation, reporting of fixed assets per policies and standards.
• Oversee fixed assets confirmation exercises, year-end closing, audit support, and resolution of audit queries.
• Provide technical advisory on fixed assets policies, accounting treatment, classification, and project implications.
• Identify process gaps and lead process improvement, digitalisation, and AI initiatives.
• Review and enhance SOPs, guidelines, and process governance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational effectiveness.
