Job summary

CGP Personnel seeks an experienced finance professional to join its Finance Group as Manager, Fixed Assets on a 1 year contract in Singapore. You will lead a team responsible for the accounting and reporting of fixed assets, including assets held by external operators.

The role offers opportunities to drive process improvements, champion AI and digitalisation, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring timely year-end closing and audits.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of finance experience.
• Fixed assets management experience, preferably in the public sector or a large organisation.
• Passion for process improvement, with strong learning agility and openness to new challenges.
• Self motivated and resourceful, able to work independently in a fast changing environment.
• Able to analyse issues holistically and develop practical solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AI tools, SAP, data analytics or visualisation tools, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely recording, tracking and reporting of fixed assets in line with accounting policies and SB-FRS.
• Ensure complete and accurate fixed assets data, and manage asset confirmation exercises with external operators.
• Complete year end closing on time and support audits by addressing queries promptly.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on operator held fixed assets and advise on policies and project implications.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in fixed assets processes, and lead improvements including AI/digitalisation.
• Lead a team of finance professionals through technical guidance and capability development.
