Job summary

CGP Personnel seeks an experienced finance professional to join its Finance Group as Manager, Fixed Assets on a 1 year contract in Singapore. You will lead a team responsible for the accounting and reporting of fixed assets, including assets held by external operators.

The role offers opportunities to drive process improvements, champion AI and digitalisation, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring timely year-end closing and audits.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of finance experience.
• Fixed assets management experience, preferably in the public sector or a large organisation.
• Passion for process improvement, with strong learning agility and openness to new challenges.
• Self motivated and resourceful, able to work independently in a fast changing environment.
• Able to analyse issues holistically and develop practical solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AI tools, SAP, data analytics or visualisation tools, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in fixed assets processes, and lead improvements including AI/digitalisation.
• Lead a team of finance professionals through technical guidance and capability development.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join its Finance Group as Manager, Fixed Assets on a 1 year contract. You will lead a team managing the accounting and reporting of the organisation's fixed assets, including assets held by external operators. The role also gives you room to drive process improvements and champion digitalisation and AI initiatives.

Job Highlights

• Salary up to $5,800 per month

• 5 day work week: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 6.00pm; Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

• Central location, near Little India MRT

Job Responsibilities

Fixed Assets Accounting and Management

• Oversee accurate and timely recording, tracking and reporting of fixed assets in line with accounting policies and the Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards (SB-FRS)

• Ensure complete and accurate fixed assets data, and manage asset confirmation exercises with external operators

• Complete year end closing on time and support audits by addressing queries promptly

Stakeholder Partnership and Advisory

• Serve as the subject matter expert on operator held fixed assets

• Advise internal divisions on fixed asset policies, accounting treatment and classification, and on the asset implications of new projects

• Develop practical proposals to address operational and accounting challenges

Process Improvement

• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in fixed assets processes, and lead the team in designing and implementing improvements

• Engage operators and stakeholders on accounting policy and practice matters

• Champion AI and digitalisation tools to modernise workflows and reduce manual effort

• Review and enhance documentation, guidelines and SOPs so they stay current and practical

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead a team of finance professionals through technical guidance, coaching and capability development

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning

• Manage workloads, and support onboarding and upskilling as processes evolve

Job Requirements
