Finance Manager (Logistics – Sea & Air Freight Forwarding)
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and monthly/year-end closing
  • Handle financial operations related to sea and air freight forwarding activities
  • Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and payment processes
  • Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and analysis
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, GST regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for logistics operations
  • Work closely with operations and management teams to improve financial and operational efficiency
Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
  • Candidates with a Polytechnic background in Finance or Accounting will be an advantage
  • Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain industry is preferred
  • Good understanding of Singapore accounting standards and GST requirements
  • Experience in audit coordination and working with external auditors
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
