• Ensure the delivery of projects within time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Build relationships with sponsors and business managers.
• Continuously build knowledge of Financial Markets and Technology.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of client’s strategic direction, issues and pain points and use innovative means to help them meet their goals
• Solve challenging business problems and provide robust solutions to bank treasuries and risk departments
• Analyse existing technical infrastructure and business processes of clients and identify development needs, limitations and gaps
• Implement projects linked to Finmechanics’ own suite of applications
• Participate in and add value to projects related to other capital markets, treasury and risk solutions
• Design and build bespoke solutions and applications in a language that is best suited for the task
• Ensure the delivery of assigned projects within time, cost and quality constraints
• Build working relationship with sponsors, senior business managers and key end-users to resolve issues related to prioritization, requirements definition or scope conflicts
• Continuously build one’s knowledge of Financial Markets, Instruments, Models, Risk Management, Operations and Technology.

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or another technical field
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Good programming skills in Java and Javascript; able to understand and write complex SQL queries will be an advantage
• Good understanding of Treasury and Capital Markets, e.g. financial products, pricing, trade life-cycle, risk management, etc. will be a plus
• Self-motivated, able to work well in teams and also individually and is open to new challenges.
• Eager to travel and work in cross-border/cross-disciplined teams at client sites
• Fresh graduates, candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience may apply
