Job summary

Advance IT Services Pte Ltd is hiring a Field Service Technician in Singapore to deliver frontline IT support and service delivery for client infrastructures. You will resolve hardware, software and network issues, install and configure systems, and manage IT assets.

A relevant IT qualification or CompTIA A+ is preferred, with 1–3 years’ experience and strong communication skills. The role emphasizes teamwork with senior IT staff, knowledge sharing, and maintaining documentation for knowledge

Qualifications

A relevant IT qualification or CompTIA A+ certification (or demonstrable equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a help desk or IT support role, ideally 1–3 years in a similar environment.
Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Proficiency with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to user support requests via phone, email, ticketing system and in-person interactions.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues for end-users.
Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Install, configure and maintain computer systems, peripherals and software applications.
Manage IT asset inventory and maintain records of deployments.
