Job summary

Jaguar Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd, a Singapore‑based firm delivering A&A works, renovation, fit‑out and maintenance, is hiring an Engineering Salesman to grow the project pipeline. The role is hands‑on and field‑facing, suited to someone with an engineering or building background who enjoys client‑facing work.

You will identify opportunities, conduct site assessments, prepare technical quotations and read drawings to scope work accurately.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in technical sales or business development in construction/engineering.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in preparing quotations and proposals; MS Office skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client-facing abilities.
• Willing to travel across Singapore and work weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Conduct site visits, take measurements and define scope with clients and consultants.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates and quotations with project teams.
• Read architectural, structural and M&E drawings to scope work accurately.
• Source quotations from suppliers/subcontractors and evaluate pricing and lead times.
• Follow up on tenders and negotiate commercial terms within approved margins.
