Job summary

SIN CHEW WOODPAQ PTE LTD is seeking a Facilities Executive to oversee daily maintenance across office, warehouse, and factory areas in Singapore. You will coordinate repairs, inspect building systems and ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will manage preventive maintenance, liaise with contractors and monitor costs, while maintaining schedules and records. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in facilities maintenance and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant facilities maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and contractor management.
• Workplace safety requirements and facility inspections.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance documentation.
• Independent, hands-on, organized, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and upkeep of office, warehouse, factory and common areas.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify defects, maintenance needs and potential safety hazards.
• Coordinate and follow up on repairs, servicing and preventive maintenance works.
• Ensure air-conditioning, lighting, plumbing, electrical systems, doors, shutters and other building facilities are in good working condition.
• Coordinate maintenance and servicing of equipment, including water dispensers, waterfilters, coffee machines and other facility equipment.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors and service providers to arrange maintenance, repairs and site visits.
• Obtain and compare quotations, monitor maintenance costs and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor contractors' work progress and verify that completed works meet the required standards.
• Maintain facility maintenance schedules, equipment inventories, inspection checklists and service records.
• Monitor housekeeping, cleanliness, pest control and waste disposal arrangements.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, coordinate corrective actions and ensure timely rectification.
• Support workplace safety inspections, audits and compliance requirements related to facility management.
• Monitor maintenance requests and follow up on outstanding issues until completion.
• Assist in facility budgets, maintenance reports, invoices and other related administrative duties.
• Perform other facility-related duties as assigned by Management.
