Job description

Location: Tuas

Duties

• Manage the receipt, storage and issuance of engineering and facilities materials, equipment, tools and critical spare parts
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using digital systems or manual logs, and conduct regular stock checks to identify low or expired items
• Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of essential materials
• Support daily facility inspections, basic troubleshooting and first-level fault identification and reporting
• Monitor, record and document key operational readings from building and engineering systems such as temperature, pressure and flow rates
• Assist in implementing workplace safety controls during maintenance and contractor activities, including Permit-to-Work and lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe condition and support safety drills, inspections and audits
• Report near-miss incidents or safety concerns and follow up on corrective actions
• Assist with the installation, setup and testing of new equipment or facility infrastructure
• Maintain facility documentation including maintenance logs, checklists, PTW forms and service reports
• Assist contractors and vendors on site and ensure compliance with site safety and operational requirements
• Carry out minor repairs, fixture replacements and workspace setup tasks as required
• Respond to facility fault reports such as power trips, HVAC issues and system alarms
• Support general facility operations including housekeeping, waste management and pest control coordination

Requirements

• Min Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities or Building Services Engineering.
• Min 2 years of relevant experience in technical facility operations.
