Job summary

Amber Marine Supplies PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced order processing professional to handle a full range of commercial duties, from inquiries and quotes to orders and invoicing.

You will coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, and forwarders to ensure timely deliveries, prepare export documents, and maintain dealer networks while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in the ship chandler industry preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to display analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of working under continual time constraints.
• To work in a fast-paced environment, dynamic & motivated personality, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Full range of order processing duties, including inquiries, quotes, orders, and invoices.
• Process technical orders and requisitions by comparing items requested to master list.
• Procure items at the best prices and coordinate with warehouse on stock requisitions.
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries between suppliers and forwarder to ensure on-time vessel arrivals.
• Prepare essential export documents, such as packing lists and weight/volume calculations.
• Posting of Delivery Orders for billing.
• Issuing of Goods Returned Notes for items rejected by customers; resolve shipment errors.
• Board the vessel in case necessary.
• Maintain and expand dealers' network and build strong customer relationships through excellent service.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Process technical Orders and requisitions by comparing items requested to master list
• Procure items at the best prices from the best sources and/or utilize existing stock in hand Co-ordinate with warehouse on stock requisitions and prepares orders
• Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers and forwarder to ensure that all items are delivered to vessels on time
• Prepare essential export documents, such as packing lists and weight/volume calculations.
• Posting of Delivery Orders for billing
• Issuing of Goods Returned Notes for item rejected by customer, Resolves shipment error with suppliers
• To board the vessel in case necessary
• Maintain and expand dealers' network and build strong customer relationships through excellent customer service
• Perform additional duties as assigned on an ad-hoc basis
