Job summary

The Internal Security Department (ISD) is seeking an Executive (Supply and Services) in Singapore to lead logistics support planning, procurement, and contracts administration to support mission readiness and operational effectiveness.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in relevant field and at least 5 years in procurement/logistics, with strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills; familiarity with public sector procedures is a must.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in procurement, logistics or supply chain roles.
• Familiar with public sector procurement procedures and contracts administration.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Formulate procurement and resupply strategies to ensure readiness in volatile operating terrain.
• Review staff services and facilities to maintain morale and well-being of officers.
• Identify opportunities for demand aggregation and manage smart contracts with stakeholders.
• Oversee management of critical supplies including risk-control and diversification plans.
• Review processes for continuous improvement, including digitalization and automation.

What You Will Be Working On

The successful candidate would have to :

• Formulate effective procurement and resupply strategies to ensure readiness in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous operating terrain.
• Review and enhance staff services (like staff canteen operations and corporate passes) to upkeep morale and well-being of officers.
• Identify opportunities for demand aggregation and work with relevant stakeholders to design, implement and administer smart and effective contracts.
• Management of critical supplies, including development of risk-control plans and diversification plans for essential supplies and services.
• Review work processes for continuous improvement including digitalization and automation to enhance user experience and efficacy.

What We Are Looking For

• Have a recognized Tertiary qualification in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent competencies.
• Have at least 5 years working experience in relevant procurement, logistics and supply chain roles.
• Be familiar with Public Sector procurement procedures and contracts administration.
• Be a team player with strong analytical skills and is able to multi-task, work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Be self- motivated, proactive, resourceful, with a keen eye for details.
• Have good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Be adept at administrative work, project and contract management.
• Be competent in the use of MS Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint, etc), Tele-Conferencing Tools (MS Teams, Skype) and Sharepoint.
• Preferably be competent in the Service oriented models like Design Thinking and Customer Service.
