The Singapore Armed Forces is seeking a seasoned supply chain leader to oversee end-to-end operations, drive improvements, and ensure resilience of vital defence logistics.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, align with internal stakeholders and partners, and manage compliance with logistics policies. Willingness to travel for inspections is expected.

Qualifications

  • Education in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain related areas such as logistics management and asset stewardship.
  • Meticulous, with a keen eye for detail to identify potential non-compliances.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Able to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and drive process improvements.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to different locations for physical inspections and inventory checks when required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehousing, distribution, repair, returns and disposal.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies and process improvements.
  • Lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders, logistics partners and transport providers to meet operational requirements and Service Logistics Agreements.
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary supply chain team through capability building, training and career development.

What The Role Is

You play a pivotal role in ensuring the resilience, readiness, and operational effectiveness of the Singapore Armed Forces' (SAF) supply chain by overseeing the secure, efficient, and timely flow of defence equipment and supplies. You lead supply chain operations and teams to optimise processes, strengthen accountability, and deliver cost-effective logistics support to meet operational and emergency requirements.
