What the role is:

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. As an Executive (Supply and Services), you will be involved in the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of Logistics Support Plans to enable mission, business continuity and operational effectiveness of the department.

What you will be working on:

1. 1. Formulate effective procurement and resupply strategies to ensure readiness in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous operating terrain.
2. 2. Review and enhance staff services (like staff canteen operations and corporate passes) to upkeep morale and well-being of officers.
3. 3. Identify opportunities for demand aggregation and work with relevant stakeholders to design, implement and administer smart and effective contracts.
4. 4. Management of critical supplies, including development of risk-control plans and diversification plans for essential supplies and services.
5. 5. Review work processes for continuous improvement including digitalization and automation to enhance user experience and efficacy.

What we are looking for:

1. 1. Have a recognized Tertiary qualification in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent competencies.
2. 2. Have at least 5 years working experience in relevant procurement, logistics and supply chain roles.
3. 3. Be familiar with Public Sector procurement procedures and contracts administration.
4. 4. Be a team player with strong analytical skills and is able to multi-task, work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
5. 5. Be self- motivated, proactive, resourceful, with a keen eye for details.
6. 6. Have good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
7. 7. Be adept at administrative work, project and contract management.
8. 8. Be competent in the use of MS Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint, etc), Tele-Conferencing Tools (MS Teams, Skype) and Sharepoint.
9. 9. Preferably be competent in the Service oriented models like Design Thinking and Customer Service.
