JAC Recruitment Singapore is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive, General Insurance Claims to join its Claims team. You will manage end-to-end General Insurance claims across Fire & General Accident portfolios, ensuring timely, fair outcomes and professional service to policyholders and business partners.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Degree in Insurance/Business/Law.
• Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII, AAII, CGI, HI or equivalent) advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years of claims handling experience in general insurance.
• Experience in Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) claims preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policy coverage and claims procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

An established general insurer is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive, General Insurance Claims to join its Claims team. This role is responsible for managing and resolving claims across Fire & General Accident portfolios, ensuring timely, fair, and professional claim outcomes while delivering excellent service to policyholders and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end handling of General Insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practices.

• Liaise with policyholders, brokers, investigators, surveyors, loss adjusters, legal representatives, third-party claimants, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.

• Assess claims, determine appropriate reserves, and ensure reserve provisions are reviewed and updated promptly.

• Conduct investigations and reviews to facilitate fair and equitable claim settlements.

• Monitor claims files regularly to ensure proper documentation, compliance, and service standards are maintained.

• Identify and pursue recovery opportunities where applicable, and follow up on outstanding recoveries.

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and administrative staff.

• Collaborate with underwriting teams by highlighting claim trends, policy wording issues, and risk improvement opportunities identified through claims handling.

• Attend client meetings, site visits, or discussions with external parties when required.

• Support departmental projects and undertake additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Business, Law, or a related discipline.

• Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII, AAII, CGI, HI or equivalent) will be advantageous.

• Minimum 2 years of claims handling experience within the general insurance industry.

• Experience in Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) claims will be highly regarded.

• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policy coverage, and claims procedures.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
