JAC Recruitment Singapore is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive, General Insurance Claims to join its Claims team. You will manage end-to-end General Insurance claims across Fire & General Accident portfolios, ensuring timely, fair outcomes and professional service to policyholders and business partners.

The role emphasizes liaison with policyholders, brokers, investigators, and other stakeholders; assess claims, set reserves, conduct investigations, monitor files, and support junior

Qualificações

• Diploma or Degree in Insurance/Business/Law.
• Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII, AAII, CGI, HI or equivalent) advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years of claims handling experience in general insurance.
• Experience in Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) claims preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policy coverage and claims procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end handling of General Insurance claims with timely processing.
• Liaise with policyholders, brokers, investigators, surveyors, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders.
• Assess claims, determine reserves, and review reserve provisions promptly.
• Conduct investigations to facilitate fair settlements.
• Monitor claims files for documentation, compliance and service standards.
• Identify and pursue recoveries where applicable and follow up on recoveries.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and staff.
• Collaborate with underwriting on trends, wording issues and risk improvements.
• Attend client meetings, site visits, or discussions with external parties.
