Job description

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) in the National University of Singapore is seeking a proactive and creative Executive / Senior Executive to provide multimedia and administrative support to the Public Affairs Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and edit photos and videos for IPS events and create engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Maintain and update the IPS website, RRIC microsite, and IPS Commons website, including regular back-ups.
  • Support the production of multimedia materials, publications, and collaterals.
  • Manage and maintain IPS social media accounts.
  • Provide administrative support for IPS events.
  • Explore, develop and test new public communication channels to enhance outreach.
  • Monitor analytics (including Google Analytics) for various websites to enhance engagement.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree, preferably in Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Film, Visual Arts, Media Studies, or related fields;
  • One to two years of experience in videography, content creation, or media production (portfolio required);
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects, and other industry-standard editing tools.
  • Strong creative and technical skills with an eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Awareness of social media trends and advertising creatives is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.
  • Possess at least one to two years of relevant working experience
  • Self-motivated, well-organised and a reliable team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
