Job summary

Goldman Sachs Singapore is seeking an experienced senior professional to lead the Supervisory Risk & Controls team for the Capital Solutions Group (CSG) within Global Banking & Markets, focusing on scalable supervisory design and risk oversight.

You will partner with Compliance, Engineering, Legal and business teams to establish robust controls, monitoring and governance frameworks that support growth while mitigating supervisory risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of relevant professional experience in supervisory frameworks or regulatory implementation
• Strong understanding of banking activities including financing, origination, structuring and underwriting
• Experience partnering with Engineering to define data strategy and deliver control enhancements
• Familiarity with securities markets, derivative products and deal flows
• Ability to translate and analyze complex data, perform root-cause and trend analyses
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience building trusted relationships across teams
• Sound judgment and proactive risk addressing approach

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Capital Solutions Group business activities and supervisory risks
• Lead design and implementation of the supervisory framework for CSG
• Define and implement controls with escalation protocols and evidence standards
• Establish governance processes for monitoring, oversight, issue identification and remediation
• Build relationships with Compliance, Engineering, Legal and other functions
• Represent the team in governance forums and provide transparency into monitoring and engagement
• Partner with Engineering to define data strategy and enable tech-driven control enhancements
• Analyze control data to identify trends and develop actionable recommendations for leadership
• Manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups to ensure timely execution
• Engage with GBM Public teams to ensure consistency across the divisional program
