Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Singapore seeks an experienced Operations professional to support Asia FICC and EQ Sales and Trading desks within Global Banking and Markets Operations. You will help manage the trade processing lifecycle, mitigate risk, and drive efficient workflows with cross-functional partners.

You will collaborate with Client and Trading teams, oversee real-time exceptions, and contribute to governance, controls, and regulatory initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, minimum of 6 years of work experience in Finance or related field.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and creative approach with very high attention to detail and ownership mindset.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly collaborative and team-focused with ability to interact effectively and influence a wide range of individuals.
• Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills with discretion and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support Asia FICC and EQ Sales & Trading desks and other Operations/federation groups for branch activities.
• Resolve complex high-priority questions/issues involving the branch with clients and trading desks.
• Oversee and manage operational risk throughout the trade processing lifecycle for branch activities.
• Act as subject matter expert to mitigate risk, drive efficiencies, and guide day-to-day operations.
• Manage real-time trade booking exceptions between Trading desk and Sales team; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with technology and business partners to enhance systems/workflows and drive change initiatives.
• Engage in industry and regulatory initiatives in a changing environment.
• Review and improve processes; ensure risk is managed and targets are met.
