Goldman Sachs Singapore is seeking an Executive Director to provide dedicated legal and regulatory coverage for Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, Singapore Branch (GBSB). You will work with business, Compliance and regional teams across APAC and globally to advise on Singapore banking and financial services law and regulatory matters.

Formación

• Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience in a law firm, financial institution, or in-house team.
• Strong grounding in Singapore banking law and financial regulation.
• Experience advising banks or regulated financial institutions on legal matters.
• Mandarin language skills preferred for cross-border matters.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal and regulatory advice to GBSB, focusing on Singapore banking and financial services regulation.
• Advise on regulatory obligations, governance, controls and operating arrangements.
• Collaborate with Product Legal, EU Legal and Legal & Compliance teams across regions on GBSB activities.
• Support Corporate Treasury matters for GBSB, including loans, funding and liquidity arrangements.
• Provide cross-border regulatory advice and draft/ review legal documentation.
• Monitor and advise on developments affecting GBSB’s regulatory landscape (SG and EU).
• Support new businesses and products with legal/regulatory analysis and implementation.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Corporate Treasury, Risk, Controllers, Operations and Tax on processes.
