Job summary

Goldman Sachs (Singapore) Pte is seeking an experienced professional to join the Supervisory Risk & Controls team within Global Banking & Markets, leading the expansion of the supervisory program for GBM Private, with focus on the Capital Solutions Group (CSG).

You will design, implement and oversee a supervisory framework, collaborate with Compliance, Engineering, Legal and other stakeholders, and drive governance, data capabilities and escalation controls across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of relevant professional experience, including supervisory frameworks or regulatory implementation.
• Understanding of banking activities: financing, origination, structuring and underwriting.
• Experience partnering with engineering to define data strategy and control improvements.
• Strong ability to translate complex data and identify root causes for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand Capital Solutions Group business activities, products and supervisory risks.
• Lead design and implementation of the supervisory framework for CSG.
• Define controls with clear escalation protocols and evidence standards.
• Establish governance for monitoring, issue identification and remediation.
• Build relationships with Compliance, Engineering, Legal and other functions.
• Represent the team in governance forums and report on control performance.
• Partner with Engineering to define data strategy and enhance controls.
• Analyze control data for trends and actionable recommendations for leaders.
• Manage multiple workstreams to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
• Coordinate with GBM Public teams for consistency across the supervisory program.
