Schroders is seeking a Client Group Risk and Controls Director, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. You will lead governance to meet regulatory obligations and act as a risk SME for Asia, partnering with risk, compliance, legal and operations to balance commercial delivery with risk controls.

You will also drive global client group risk programs, deputise for the Global Head when needed, and help ensure consistent governance across regions while overseeing regulatory change and financial crime

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Asset Management is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver a governance framework to meet regulatory obligations in Asia.
• Act as a local SME for risk events, regulatory issues, and changes.
• Identify and manage ongoing and emerging risks within the business.
• Support management and governance of regulated entities in Asia.
• Contribute to global client group risk and controls programs and leadership.
• Deputise for the Global Head when required and ensure global governance consistency.
• Oversee response to risk events and ensure remediation and lessons learned.
• Lead dedicated forums for senior Asia management on risks and regulatory issues.
• Document key risks and align with group risk and control assessment processes.
• Monitor risk areas and provide management feedback on concerns and remediation.
• Deliver operational resilience requirements and ensure critical services and channels are identified.
• Manage consumer duty board reporting and ensure informed entity boards.
• Represent Asia in regulatory change projects and communicate implications.
• Deliver Asia-specific requirements of global client group control programs.
• Act as a local Financial Crime SME and support policy compliance.
