The Event Manager leads the end-to-end planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of live, corporate, and public entertainment events. This role oversees event budgets, vendor partnerships, production schedules, and cross-functional teams to deliver engaging attendee experiences that align with organizational objectives and strict safety standards.
Lead the conceptualisation, scoping, and production timelines for a diverse range of live events, shows, and activations. Establish event goals, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholder expectations. Develop contingency plans and risk management strategies for all phases of event production.
Formulate, allocate, and monitor project budgets, tracking operational expenses to ensure cost efficiency and maximum ROI. Source, negotiate with, and manage contracts for external vendors, talent agencies, staging providers, and venue partners. Procure required production equipment, decor, audio-visual technology, and operational supplies.
Supervise on-site load-in, event setup, live execution, and load-out operations. Direct event staff, stage managers, technicians, and front-of-house teams to maintain run sheet precision. Ensure all venue operations comply with local health, safety, crowd management, and licensing regulations. Resolve urgent operational issues, technical bottlenecks, or logistical emergencies swiftly during live events.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, artists, venue managers, and key partners throughout the event lifecycle. Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback, analyzing key performance metrics, and compiling financial reconciliations. Identify operational improvements to elevate the efficiency and quality of future productions.
