Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Technician specializing in warehouse equipment maintenance. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and servicing of all warehouse equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, lifts, conveyors, and racking systems
• Troubleshoot equipment faults promptly and carry out necessary repairs and parts replacement to minimize downtime
• Conduct safety inspections of warehouse facilities such as fire-fighting equipment, lighting, and ventilation systems, and address potential hazards in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and establish complete maintenance files for equipment management
• Manage spare parts, tools, and materials required for maintenance, including inventory control and periodic stocktaking
• Coordinate with external service providers when outsourcing repairs, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Control maintenance costs and use budgets reasonably during repair activities
• Propose improvement suggestions to optimize maintenance processes and enhance efficiency
• Comply strictly with company rules and safety operating procedures
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• At least higher NITEC and above; major in mechatronics, mechanics, or related fields
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse equipment maintenance preferred
• Certificates and skills: Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification
• Familiar with structure, principles, and maintenance methods of common warehouse equipment
• Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Proficient in using maintenance tools and instruments such as multimeters, wrenches, welding machines, etc.
• Strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, good teamwork and problem-solving abilities
