Job summary

KOOMI OS PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Technical Support specialist to assist merchants using Koomi POS systems, diagnose technical issues, and help onboard new accounts for enterprise F&B clients.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking problems, provide remote and on-site support, and document tickets to ensure timely resolutions and high customer satisfaction. The role offers opportunities to grow within the tech and product operations teams.

Qualifications

• ITE/NITEC or Diploma in IT/CS or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support merchants.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to merchants using Koomi’s POS systems, software, and hardware to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, remote support, and onsite visits to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation, configuration, testing, and deployment of POS systems and peripherals for new and existing clients.
• Support onboarding, setup, and implementation of new merchant accounts to enable seamless system adoption.
• Diagnose and fix software, hardware, networking, and connectivity problems to maintain system reliability.
• Record, track, and follow up on support tickets to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Escalate complex technical issues to specialized technical or product teams for expert handling.
• Coordinate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and improve customer experience.
• Guide merchants on system functionality, troubleshooting steps, and best practices to empower user independence.
• Assist with system upgrades, maintenance, and other technical support activities to keep systems current and stable.
