Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Management Officer. The role involves supporting M&E services, supervising contractors, and managing costs. Candidates should have a diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or Facilities Management and relevant experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, and a Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager designation will be prioritized. The role requires shift work across rotating shifts, ensuring highly flexible attendance is maintained to suit operational needs.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Facility Building Maintenance services.
• Knowledge in BMS or M&E infrastructure is an advantage.
• Shift work required (3 rotating shifts: Morning, Afternoon and Night).

Responsibilities

• Support in the facilities management services, including M&E support.
• Assist in supervision of contractors for maintenance and testing.
• Prepare regular reports for internal and external customers.
• Help in cost management and price negotiation with vendors.
• Support in other ad-hoc projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support in the facilities management services, which include M&E support of the building
• Assist in the supervision of contractors in planning, coordination and execution of corrective, preventive maintenance, integrated system tests and annual building shutdown activities
• Assist in the preparation of regular reports for internal and external customers
• Assist in cost management and price negotiation with the vendors
• Support in other Ad-hoc project

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or Facilities Management or its equivalent
• Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager will be considered a priority
• Relevant experience in Facility Building Maintenance services, ACMV equipment/chillers
• Knowledge in BMS or M&E infrastructure will be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Shift work required (3 rotating shifts: Morning, Afternoon and Night)
