Job description

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for material testing of polymer based materials which includes but not limited to reading up of standard test methods, hands on testing in laboratory and on site
• Prepare documentation, recording and analyzing of test data
• Assist in the development of new testing
• Assist the department safety representative on safety related matters
• Generating sales quotations and follow up with clients
• Attend to customers queries for test schedules, test results
• Manage maintenance of test equipment and update of equipment record
• Working with the team to ensure smooth operation of the laboratory
• Provide support for laboratory quality management

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Material Science Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably with hands on experience with universal testing machine and digital microscope
• Good communication, Teamwork, Good attention to details and problem solving skills
