Job summary

MacLink Pte Ltd seeks a dedicated Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy retail outlet. This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to handle multiple challenges with minimal support.

You will lead opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation, staff scheduling, stock control, and customer service while maintaining merchandising standards and achieving weekly KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of retail supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership to manage a small team under tight schedules.
• Willingness to work long hours including weekends and public holidays.
• High level of responsibility and accountability for store performance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and remain reachable during operational hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and daily financial reporting.
• Oversee operations during peak periods to maintain service excellence.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules and attendance records, covering shifts on short notice.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular stock counts, monitor inventory shrinkage, and minimize losses.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and maintenance vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain store standards in merchandising and housekeeping per HQ guidelines.
• Achieve weekly operational KPIs, including sales targets and audits.
• Participate in HQ meetings and training, adapting to new directives and last-minute notices.
• Remain ready for urgent operational matters throughout the week.
• Perform cashier, stocker, and customer service roles when required.
