Job summary

BNL Engineering Private Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to lead and deliver electrical and M&E projects across Singapore. The role involves preparing budgets, tender docs, cost control, and contract administration, with strong emphasis on variations and claims.

Diploma/degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline is required. Experience in electrical/M&E projects is advantageous, and ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in electrical and/or M&E projects advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of tendering, cost control, contract administration, variations and claims.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost budgets and monitor changes in design and construction works.
• Source quotations from contractors and sub-contractors and conduct price comparisons.
• Manage claim submissions, follow-ups, and monthly cost/value reports.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Carry out quantity take-offs for project tendering.
• Manage project administration and documentation, including interim valuations, variation pricing, and agreement of contract variations.
• Measure and determine work progress to evaluate work done and assess contractual claims submitted by sub-contractors.
• Review project variations and advise the Project Manager on the cost implications of changes in project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation and settlement of final accounts with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Carry out duties and documentation required under the Company’s ISO Quality Management System.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
